SOLD - Conde, by the Stallion Chequille Z.
A 7 year old Trakehner/Oldenburg.
Conde is a 7 year old, imported from Germany as a 5 year old in February 2013. He is owned by Jennifer Marrero. He is currently competing in Fourth Level where he received scores of 70% and he sold in July and we wish his new owner every success. He is missed terribly at the barn.
The Stallion Chequille is an all-round talent of the best breeding, carrying the Zangersheide brand and Holsteiner bloodlines. He proved his versatility by becoming the overall winner of the 2004 Stallion Performance Test in Neustadt/Dosse with 137.37 points. He was the reserve champion in both dressage and show jumping, after already having won the 30-day stallion test.
Chequille is a very level-headed, rideable stallion with the best basic gaits. He has an unheard of jumping talent with scope, leg usage, and potential that can only be described with superlatives.
Chequille started his competition career with much bravura. He was fifth in the highly prestigious Challenge-Cup in Wiesbaden, he qualified for the 2005 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden (score 9.2) and was victorious in show jumping classes at A- and L-level. In 2006, he made his international breakthrough. At his first FEI level CDI show in Flyinge, Sweden, Chequille placed second and third in the Prix St Georges and Intermediaire I.
His sire Caretano Z won Grand Prix classes and Nations’ Cups under Jos Lansink. Through the highly noble Lavall II and Latino, Ladykiller xx thoroughbred blood is infused in the dam line. Calypso I, who is an extremely versatile producer and well praised for the quality of his basic gaits, completes Chequille’s pedigree. Chequille descends out of the Holsteiner line 474 A which also produced top sires Calato, Chagallo, Cicero, Colombo, Loxgraf Go, N-Aldato, Nimrod B, and the internationally successful eventing horse Brilliante und Geliebte (under Inken Johanssen).
Chequille’s first crop of foals stands out in type, athletic conformation, and elastic gaits. He has presented multiple champions and reserve champions at Foal Shows and Championships in Germany and neighbouring countries. Several offspring achieved top prices at the Elite Auctions. http://yancey-farms.com/chequillez.html
