Kaytee Mountain, Rood & Riddle Sport Horse of the Year, Honored at TOBA Awards Dinner.

Kaytee Mountain "Tee" is the first Dressage horse to win the prestigious Sport Horse of the Year award.  Previously, Eventers and Jumpers have been awarded this distinction.

Competitors earn points toward the Rood & Riddle Thoroughbred Sport Horse Awards at USEF-sanctioned events during the show season, and the open divisional awards go to the highest point earners. Rookie awards in each division ensure that newcomers are recognized as well. At the end of the year, a Horse of the Year is chosen from among the divisional winners (Hunter, Jumper, Dressage, Eventing) by a celebrity committee. This award is presented at the annual Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association awards banquet.
